The students are requested to send the following documents to the International Office at Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University:
- Application Form- completed and signed
- Proof of English (or Polish) proficiency at the level of B2 (it can be either an internationally recognised certificate, or a confirmation issued by their home university)

Application deadlines
For winter semester: 30 June
For spring semester: 30 November
Confirmation of admission
Once the application is confirmed, a letter of admission is sent by email to the accepted student. It is strongly advised not to make any travel arrangements before obtaining the formal acceptance for studies at Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University.
The International Office offers support before, during and after the mobility. It is the first point of contact for applications and enquiries regarding the organisation of the stay. It prepares orientation weeks for the incoming students before the beginning of each semester.
The incoming students may benefit from the Buddy System and get support from local students- guides or ‘buddies’ who can help them with the arrangement of their stay in Poland and at university.
Courses
The incoming students can select freely from the wide range of courses offered at AFMKU.
The official language of instruction is Polish. However, students who do not speak Polish can find an attractive alternative in programmes that are conducted in English.
The list of courses students wish to study has to be consulted with the Faculty Coordinator.
The incoming students have to prepare a Learning Agreement prior to their arrival. It should include a list of courses the students intend to take at Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University. It needs to be accepted and signed by the student, the sending institution and the receiving institution. The Learning Agreement can be revised within the first few weeks of their studies in the event of any changes which might appear (Changes to Learning Agreement).
